The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedé Linares during the 23rd minute. The supporters of AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF booed when Silveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The crowd rose to their feet as AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's Nick Troelsgaard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serginho Lusa. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. With a little luck, Silveira's Serginho Lusa got control of the ball when Caetano Heidemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's Lauro Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Magalhães in the 91st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Beto Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lauro Mangueira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the match, Vanja Dimitrijević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Lusa. Silveira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vanja Dimitrijević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Silveira.
