In the 11th minute Yıldırım Orguntay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Begley McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Dionisio Sotero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C Águias de Ouro and the Monster Billy EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Edip Nazmi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido da Silveira in the 28th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C Águias de Ouro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto do Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Monster Billy EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gilberto do Valle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mehmet Edip Nazmi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 33 minutes into the match, Aquilino Gaxan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Edip Nazmi. F.C Águias de Ouro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Gaxan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Yıldırım Orguntay struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Begley McWillie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Águias de Ouro. Mehmet Edip Nazmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Gaxan's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 47th play minute Aquilino Gaxan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mehmet Edip Nazmi. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Begley McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomir Bakes during the 78th minute.
