Adilson das Neves made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Arthur Guedes sent off a good shot on target. After 17 minutes, Osvaldo Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aurora FC and the Vila Industrial FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Guedes in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aurora FC's goalkeeper Adilson das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Ramos took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adilson das Neves. Adilson das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's Arthur Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adilson das Neves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adilson das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Guedes in the 29th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arthur Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arthur Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson das Neves having to interfere. Vila Industrial FC's Pang Yang Yong was substituted for Arthur Guedes. Pang Yang Yong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute Pang Yang Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Pang Yang Yong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adilson das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After a rather tough play, Aurora FC's Andrézinho Rossi got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Vila Industrial FC's Pang Yang Yong got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Jacinto Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Adilson das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Pang Yang Yong made a precise shot to the right of Adilson das Neves. Aurora FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vila Industrial FC fully deserved thier win.
