A collision led to Barra Funda F.C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hortêncio Freire hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Nelson Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Serafim Bastos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gugu Gaúcho. Serafim Bastos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as João Vítor da Mata kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gugu Gaúcho. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. João Vítor da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Barra Funda F.C defense, João Vítor da Mata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. The Barra Funda F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gugu Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. João Vítor da Mata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gugu Gaúcho having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Knit United's Dida Gerber slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gugu Gaúcho. That made the score 4-0 after 32 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Gugu Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Real Knit United's Dida Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedé Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Vítor da Mata made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gugu Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Gugu Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata. But to his dismay, João Vítor da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Dida Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Gaúcho having to interfere. João Vítor da Mata took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gugu Gaúcho. Gugu Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Wesley Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barra Funda F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Quintun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Vítor da Mata scored 10-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gugu Gaúcho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Vítor da Mata in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gugu Gaúcho saved Barra Funda F.C from getting behind. Real Knit United made a substitution. Angelo Mesquita replaced João Vítor da Mata. Real Knit United's Fábio Sergipano was substituted for Moisés Gaspar. Nelson Rosado made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Real Knit United's Basílio Borges. When Real Knit United's Angelo Mesquita in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barra Funda F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 88 played minutes Barra Funda F.C got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Tróia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Mesquita in the 89th minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gugu Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Gerber in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Real Knit United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
