Gugu Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zane Woodhall in the 5th minute of play. Gugu Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Domingues in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barra Funda F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zane Woodhall was slow to take the kick. During this time RochA Bombeir0 FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. In the 11th minute, 袁雄岩 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Paraense to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Mustafa Kemal Malik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gugu Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Zane Woodhall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio Freire hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Torcuato Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Gugu Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Torcuato Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gugu Gaúcho was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Gugu Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Domingues in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barra Funda F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RochA Bombeir0 FSCMZ the free kick. Zane Woodhall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcuato Lopez in the 35th minute of play forced Barra Funda F.C's goalkeeper Gugu Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, RochA Bombeir0 FSCMZ's Thomás Domingues nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gugu Gaúcho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Zane Woodhall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gugu Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barra Funda F.C's Hortêncio Freire got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wesley Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Torcuato Lopez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gugu Gaúcho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Giuseppe Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Torcuato Lopez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gugu Gaúcho came out and tried to block the shot, but Torcuato Lopez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Kemal Malik got free with Gugu Gaúcho in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, 袁雄岩 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gugu Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. In the 65th match minute, Barra Funda F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Barra Funda F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Thomás Domingues scored to the left of an out of position Gugu Gaúcho, making the score, 0-10. The supporters of RochA Bombeir0 FSCMZ booed when Barra Funda F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as RochA Bombeir0 FSCMZ's Torcuato Lopez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gugu Gaúcho. That made the score 0-11 after 73 minutes of play. In the 78th minute Thomás Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Gaúcho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gugu Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomás Domingues went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Gugu Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Torcuato Lopez sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Torcuato Lopez sped through Barra Funda F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gugu Gaúcho. Torcuato Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barra Funda F.C's Gugu Gaúcho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Barra Funda F.C from getting a goal against them.
