This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adilson das Neves as he didn't even see the shot coming. Romeu Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Serafim Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, João Vítor da Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Knit United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Aurora FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 25 minutes, Agnaldo Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Knit United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Aurora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horácio Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Adilson das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Pinheiro in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Souto in the 35th minute of play forced Aurora FC's goalkeeper Adilson das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Real Knit United's corner Diogo Sampaio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adilson das Neves quite easily take care of the ball. Aurora FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Diogo Sampaio scored to the left of an out of position Adilson das Neves, making the score, 3-0. Adilson das Neves made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Serafim Bastos sent off a good shot on target. Real Knit United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Souto in the 42nd minute. Adilson das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Gaspar in the 45th minute of play. João Vítor da Mata's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Adilson das Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rune Myr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Aurora FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor da Mata came free, but Adilson das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Bastos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Serafim Bastos sped through Aurora FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adilson das Neves. Agnaldo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson das Neves having to interfere. After some careless play in the Aurora FC defense, Serafim Bastos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adilson das Neves. The Aurora FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adilson das Neves should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute Agnaldo Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Souto notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Aurora FC's Adilson das Neves. Adilson das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adilson das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Souto in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute João Vítor da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adilson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Agnaldo Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson das Neves was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. João Vítor da Mata scored 7-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adilson das Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adilson das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
