Elano Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Rosado in the 2nd minute of play. Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Mandrak in the 4th minute of play. Flavinho Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Elano Rezende made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Mandrak in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. André Luís Seco hit a great ball. After 15 minutes of play, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Genílson Mandrak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genílson Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rogério Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras - Tia Leila. After having played for 23 minutes, Caco Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caco Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Mandrak in the 24th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Rogério Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palmeiras - Tia Leila were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Zandarin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olívio Sá took the corner. The corner ended in Olívio Sá almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zandarin FC's Rogério Paraense did a great save. Flavinho Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Rezende having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Adolfo Luz during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's João Adolfo Luz got a free kick in the 29th minute. Elano Rezende made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Flavinho Rosado sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Bebeto Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Svenkerud came free, but Rogério Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Palmeiras - Tia Leila's goalkeeper Elano Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavinho Rosado. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marinos Androulakis to make the kick off. Genílson Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Genílson Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Barbosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogério Paraense firmly grabbed it by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Rogério Paraense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's attentive Joachim Svenkerud managed to snatch the ball when Gláuber de Amorim made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Diogo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zandarin FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Genílson Mandrak 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The supporters of Palmeiras - Tia Leila booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Elano Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Ezequiel Lira was substituted for Bebeto Recife. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's Richard de Senna was substituted for Olívio Sá. After taking down the ball on Palmeiras - Tia Leila's corner Ezequiel Lira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rogério Paraense quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Palmeiras - Tia Leila booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Mandrak in the 91st minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Rogério Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zandarin FC's protests and gave Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar a yellow card for diving instead. Bayındır Mehmet Şahdar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Palmeiras - Tia Leila's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
