Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gonzalo Jurdan started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Montoia in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Vergílio saved Real Santista FC from getting behind. Real Santista FC's Jailson Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Jurdan in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, XV de Piracicaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Novaes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Montoia in the 11th minute of play forced Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Jailson Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Jurdan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Jailson Vergílio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Santista FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fábio Montoia was slow to take the kick. During this time XV de Piracicaba's players had a chance to rest. The corner led XV de Piracicaba's Fábio Montoia to fire away a dangerous shot which Jailson Vergílio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jailson Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gonzalo Jurdan sent off a good shot on target. When Waldemar Negri fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Santista FC's protests and gave Waldemar Negri a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Real Santista FC got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Negri. Jailson Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Montoia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes Real Santista FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fábio Montoia who took care of the corner kick. XV de Piracicaba's Alexsandro Teles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jailson Vergílio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Real Santista FC's Tostão Veiga got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Severino Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the XV de Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Capixaba couldn't finish the play. The XV de Piracicaba fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when XV de Piracicaba's Gonzalo Jurdan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jailson Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Jurdan in the 29th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match, Severino Capixaba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jailson Vergílio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wen Yong Sha kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Fábio Montoia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to XV de Piracicaba getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alexsandro Teles hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldemar Negri made a kick off. Jailson Vergílio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexsandro Teles in the 51st minute of play. If Yuri Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Real Santista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Jurdan came free, but Jailson Vergílio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Negri got free with Fonso Zotillo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Veiga got free with Fonso Zotillo in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gonzalo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. XV de Piracicaba's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Jurdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Gonzalo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XV de Piracicaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Dinei Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Santista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XV de Piracicaba the free kick. When Gonzalo Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the XV de Piracicaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Jurdan couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Fábio Montoia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Santista FC's zone, Gonzalo Jurdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Vergílio came out of the goal and Gonzalo Jurdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Jurdan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jailson Vergílio was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Gonzalo Jurdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jailson Vergílio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
