When Jakub Plichta fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fluxo's protests and gave Jakub Plichta a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacey Sharp in the 18th minute of play forced Fluxo's goalkeeper Serafino Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Cacey Sharp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Fluxo's Serafino Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacey Sharp in the 51st minute of play. With his leg Serafino Lopez managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when FC Barrera 2.0's Dadá Maravilha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The FC Barrera 2.0 fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when FC Barrera 2.0's Dadá Maravilha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dadá Maravilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Serafino Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Maravilha in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Lopez saved Fluxo from getting behind.
