The referee ignored União dos 7 FC's protests and gave Fábio Tande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Fábio Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Anísio Aparecido successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute, Luiz Fernando Bertassi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The União dos 7 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, União dos 7 FC's Mateusz Dobilas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. União dos 7 FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Romário Catarinense scored to the left of an out of position Anísio Aparecido, making the score, 1-2. With a little luck, União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido got control of the ball when Kléber de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateusz Dobilas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Walmyr de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateusz Dobilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr de Lara having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romário Catarinense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. União dos 7 FC's Anísio Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Catarinense in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fernando Bertassi got free with Walmyr de Lara in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber de Mendonça came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fluxo's Paulo Cebo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vágner de Queiroz, made in the 57th minute of the game. Anísio Aparecido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Valadares came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateusz Dobilas scored 1-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walmyr de Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. União dos 7 FC made a substitution. Berke Topçam replaced Mateusz Dobilas. Anísio Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in União dos 7 FC's zone, Paulo Cebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anísio Aparecido came out of the goal and Paulo Cebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fábio Tande hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, União dos 7 FC's Fábio Tande got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute Fluxo were awarded a corner. Paulo Cebo went to the cornerflag to take it. Walmyr de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Topçam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, União dos 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Catarinense came free, but Anísio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The União dos 7 FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
