C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Cecilio Manny scored to the left of an out of position Umberto Cunha, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th minute, Viktor Ambrosetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lu Xing Song scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yan do Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Ambrosetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Ambrosetti in the 20th minute of the match. Ubatuba were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Pégasus F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edvaldo Trevisan took the corner. The corner led Ubatuba's Edvaldo Trevisan to fire away a dangerous shot which Umberto Cunha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match, Edvaldo Trevisan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Umberto Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yan do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natã do Vale. Yan do Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kurt Groll was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ubatuba's Dráuzio Velasco got a free kick in the 50th minute. Xande Sharkin took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yan do Valle. Yan do Valle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. C.'s Qiao Ang Le nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan do Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After having played for 83 minutes, Luiz Paulo Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubatuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubatuba's Yan do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ubatuba from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Xande Sharkin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ubatuba's Yan do Valle didn't even have to move. In the 88th minute Kurt Groll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan do Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qiao Ang Le let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 90th minute shot 1-6 at rihgt post. Yan do Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Groll in the 93rd minute. The Ubatuba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pégasus F. C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
