Fluxo's Jarbas Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Ambrosetti in the 21st minute of play. Hermínio Paraibano made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fluxo's Iratze Toxeiro. Jiří Brázdil lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Viktor Ambrosetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Gonçalves having to interfere. Cecilio Manny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Jarbas Gonçalves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 61stth minute of the game Viktor Ambrosetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluxo's Jarbas Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarbas Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Ambrosetti in the 64th minute of play. Viktor Ambrosetti shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 67 minutes into the game, Viktor Ambrosetti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jarbas Gonçalves. Viktor Ambrosetti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 71st minute of the match Ubatuba got a corner. Fluxo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edvaldo Trevisan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Romário Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan do Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Romário Catarinense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yan do Valle. Ubatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romário Catarinense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fluxo's attentive Carlinhos de Almeida managed to snatch the ball when Renatinho de Lima made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Jarbas Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natã do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Viktor Ambrosetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 minutes Fluxo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edvaldo Trevisan who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ubatuba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
