When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Napoleon Dzierwa took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jarbas Lopez to make any attempt to save it. After 18 played minutes Mamute got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Vale. Jarbas Lopez made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Aníbal Motta sent off a good shot on target. Mamute's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Aníbal Motta scored to the left of an out of position Jarbas Lopez, making the score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Aníbal Motta put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jarbas Lopez. Jarbas Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Paulista in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Napoleon Dzierwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Napoleon Dzierwa struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jarbas Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FURIA FIEL. A collision led to FURIA FIEL getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wieslaw Klucznik hit a great ball. Jarbas Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Dzierwa in the 71st minute of play. If Knut Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FURIA FIEL's Philip Boffin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosmas Trabakoulos in the 75th minute of play. Aníbal Motta scored 7-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarbas Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FURIA FIEL's Vítor Abraão got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Aníbal Motta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarbas Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarbas Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wieslaw Klucznik, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
