Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Omar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Maximiliano Omar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes, Maximiliano Omar made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Mamute's Jarbas Lopez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Jarbas Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Omar, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Brazil Academy's Maximiliano Omar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a left leg Jarbas Lopez saved Mamute from getting behind. Jarbas Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Amaral in the 93rd minute. Mamute's Jarbas Lopez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Mamute from getting a goal against them.
