Noel Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 8 minutes into the match, Patro F C's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Motta came free, but Noel Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vítor Abraão sped through Patro F C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Melo. Knut Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Aníbal Motta put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Noel Melo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Henriksson in the 28th minute of play forced Patro F C's goalkeeper Noel Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aníbal Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Motta in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Melo saved Patro F C from getting behind. Patro F C's Noel Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Motta in the 36th minute of play. Aníbal Motta scored 0-8 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

If Vítor Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Noel Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Dzierwa in the 54th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Patro F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Valle to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aníbal Motta got free with Noel Melo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, FURIA FIEL's Knut Henriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. The FURIA FIEL fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FURIA FIEL's Aníbal Motta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Patro F C booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aníbal Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Noel Melo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Patro F C's Juan Diniz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
