After a rather tough play, LULU TRICOLOR's Hermínio Marinho got a free kick in the 16th minute. LULU TRICOLOR's Octaaf Haesevoets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Melo in the 16th minute of play. José Pedro Miranda took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Taraborrelli. Alfonso Taraborrelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. István Borbély received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alfonso Taraborrelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute José Pedro Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Taraborrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BOTAFOGO's Kauan Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dário Britto made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LULU TRICOLOR's Umut Usum. When LULU TRICOLOR's José Pedro Miranda in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half LULU TRICOLOR were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Pedro Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. José Pedro Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Octaaf Haesevoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaanek Oese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Alfonso Taraborrelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Pedro Miranda. BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save BOTAFOGO from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Taraborrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaanek Oese in the 63rd minute of play forced LULU TRICOLOR's goalkeeper Octaaf Haesevoets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LULU TRICOLOR's Octaaf Haesevoets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Édouard Deloge in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BOTAFOGO's Thiago Ramalho got a free kick in the 69th minute. When BOTAFOGO's Kauan Melo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaanek Oese in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octaaf Haesevoets saved LULU TRICOLOR from getting behind. In the 87th minute of the match, José Pedro Miranda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Taraborrelli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. LULU TRICOLOR's Octaaf Haesevoets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Correia in the 89th minute of play. A hard shot 91 in the game by José Pedro Miranda from a close distance when the talented Alfonso Taraborrelli managed to make a qualified save. BOTAFOGO's players were relieved. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when José Pedro Miranda sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LULU TRICOLOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
