When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Baturhan Oytun took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Romeu Marques to make any attempt to save it. Iurie Chiriacescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Queirós in the 8th minute of the match. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Planet Caravan from getting a goal against them. Baturhan Oytun came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romeu Marques could save by the left post. Bebeto Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Chiriacescu having to interfere. Víktor Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Mete Gøl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Romeu Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baturhan Oytun. If Baturhan Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Trancoso in the 30th minute of play. Mete Gøl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Romeu Marques made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Romeu Marques successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 39 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Trancoso came free, but Romeu Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Trancoso scored 3-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Queirós in the 45th minute of play forced PIAUÍ FC's goalkeeper Iurie Chiriacescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Planet Caravan getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dedê Vinhas hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baturhan Oytun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Baturhan Oytun sped through Planet Caravan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeu Marques. A collision led to PIAUÍ FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Guga Trancoso hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Guga Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Romeu Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baturhan Oytun scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baturhan Oytun in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Guga Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes of play, PIAUÍ FC's Mete Gøl made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeu Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! PIAUÍ FC made a substitution. Juninho Freitas replaced Baturhan Oytun. PIAUÍ FC's Vladimir de Sena was substituted for Mete Gøl. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Trancoso in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Trancoso in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Dedê Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Planet Caravan and the PIAUÍ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juninho Freitas in the 86th minute of play forced Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Romeu Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Juninho Freitas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Romeu Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the PIAUÍ FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
