With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hílton Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guga Trancoso went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of PIAUÍ FC booed when Botinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Baturhan Oytun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hílton Magalhães. Botinho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baturhan Oytun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturhan Oytun in the 19th minute of the match. The PIAUÍ FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PIAUÍ FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
