Eliézer Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaanek Oese in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Toninho Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliézer Sergipano. Kabelo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Édouard Deloge in the 23rd minute of play forced Kabelo FC's goalkeeper Eliézer Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dário Britto made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kabelo FC's Romário Lima. Toninho Madureira's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eliézer Sergipano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfonso Taraborrelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded BOTAFOGO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kabelo FC.
