Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Lopez in the 7th minute of play. Samagara Real - DMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Roy Makaay scored to the left of an out of position Celsinho Bueno, making the score, 1-0. Safa Do kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Roy Makaay made a precise shot to the right of Celsinho Bueno. Samagara Real - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Guo Ao was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 27th minute, Roy Makaay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Celsinho Bueno, passed just outside the right post. 30 minutes into the match, Samagara Real - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Makaay came free, but Celsinho Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celsinho Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Makaay's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 46 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Vachon. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Makaay made a kick off. Roy Makaay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celsinho Bueno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Armandinho Xavier got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute, Roy Makaay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roy Makaay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Celsinho Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Zeledon Vachon put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Villaverde Celeste Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Samagara Real - DMZ:s goal. Villaverde Celeste Clube:s Nenko Reza showed great skill when he stopped Gilmar Lopez:s penalty. Guo Ao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Bueno having to interfere. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Vale replaced Armandinho Xavier. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan was substituted for Roy Makaay. Guo Ao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute of the game Lino Mineiro made a throw-in which Luís Eduardo de Souza played forward. After 94 minutes, Roman Sanduru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samagara Real - DMZ and the Villaverde Celeste Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Sanduru hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
