Roy Makaay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Emílio de Amorim made a huge save. Emílio de Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roy Makaay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Guo Ao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio de Amorim having to interfere. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's Emílio de Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Guarapari do Esp. Santo from getting a goal against them. Emílio de Amorim was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Roy Makaay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roy Makaay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Roy Makaay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarapari do Esp. Santo's Emílio de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emílio de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Matheus da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armandinho Xavier struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Emílio de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaverde Celeste Clube. Emílio de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Makaay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Guarapari do Esp. Santo's zone, Roy Makaay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio de Amorim came out of the goal and Roy Makaay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Dinei Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Roy Makaay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emílio de Amorim was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Ernesto Fernandez made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza got control of the ball when Matheus da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guarapari do Esp. Santo's Emílio de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Xavier in the 58th minute of play. Roy Makaay scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emílio de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Makaay in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roy Makaay in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio de Amorim saved Guarapari do Esp. Santo from getting behind. Matheus da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matheus da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Guarapari do Esp. Santo got a freekick which was hit by Matheus da Cunha. Villaverde Celeste Clube made a substitution. Pedro Augusto Vale replaced Armandinho Xavier. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan was substituted for Roy Makaay. In the 75th match minute, Guarapari do Esp. Santo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matheus da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Kıraç Uskan scored 8-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emílio de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Dinei Galvão in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Eduardo Angulo. Emílio de Amorim came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Kıraç Uskan. But to his dismay, Kıraç Uskan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Santo's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Guarapari do Esp. Santo may have spent more time on the ball, but Villaverde Celeste Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
