The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Pereira in the 3rd minute of play. After 6 minutes Bayern Lessa - u21's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was André Barros who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Flamengo CIMZ's corner André Barros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mateus Mello quite easily take care of the ball. Mateus Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Frichoso went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mateus Mello was a little too slow when Niceto Frichoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 25 minutes of play, Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Rambert hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Frichoso got free with Mateus Mello in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Niceto Frichoso notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Bayern Lessa - u21's Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 35 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Frichoso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Frichoso got free with Mateus Mello in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Trigo in the 42nd minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Mateus Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Frichoso in the 43rd minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Mateus Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Tande. Flamengo CIMZ's Niceto Frichoso came free and shot a quick shot against goal 46 minutes in the game, fortunately Mateus Mello had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Frichoso made a kick off. Mateus Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Frichoso scored 8-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. After 64 minutes of play, Flamengo CIMZ's Jack Black made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Bayern Lessa - u21 defense, Alfred Kiszkiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Mello. The Bayern Lessa - u21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Mello should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateus Mello. Bayern Lessa - u21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Black in the 76th minute of play forced Bayern Lessa - u21's goalkeeper Mateus Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 15-0 when Alfred Kiszkiel sped through Bayern Lessa - u21's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo CIMZ's Jack Black. But to his dismay, Jack Black quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. In the 92nd minute, Alfred Kiszkiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. Mateus Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Frichoso in the 94th minute of play. Mateus Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo in the 95th minute of play.
