Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alexandre Soeiro started the match with the kick off. When Alexandre Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diamond Football Club's protests and gave Alexandre Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Alexandre Soeiro hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Alexandre Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leões do Sul 53's zone, Albertinho Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Custódio came out of the goal and Albertinho Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rony Rüşti in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cléberson Alves saved Diamond Football Club from getting behind. With a little luck, Leões do Sul 53's Leandro Custódio got control of the ball when Albertinho Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Leões do Sul 53's Guto Kleber made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cléberson Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Christiano Barreto hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leões do Sul 53's zone, Alexandre Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Custódio came out of the goal and Alexandre Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albertinho Borges was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Leões do Sul 53 defense, Alexandre Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Custódio. The Leões do Sul 53 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Custódio should have stopped the shot. Cléberson Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kraig Sandoval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléberson Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Sandoval in the 58th minute of the match. Leandro Custódio came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Diamond Football Club's Albertinho Borges. But to his dismay, Albertinho Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kraig Sandoval received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cléberson Alves came out and tried to block the shot, but Kraig Sandoval slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, one of Leões do Sul 53:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leões do Sul 53. Diamond Football Club's Cléberson Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Rüşti in the 69th minute of play. Leandro Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Hílton Britto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cléberson Alves. Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guto Kleber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Cléberson Alves made a huge save. In the 77th minute Guto Kleber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Diamond Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Loureiro. In the 84th minute of the match, Rony Rüşti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cléberson Alves saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute, one of Leões do Sul 53:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leões do Sul 53. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Diamond Football Club. Luiz Fernando Pombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leandro Custódio. 4-2.
