Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Machado started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Werneck FC - DMZ booed when CRICIÚMA E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Kulaš in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Erik Kulaš managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Kulaš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Donciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Kazimierz Madej got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Machado in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toninho Cardozo saved CRICIÚMA E.C. from getting behind. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Werneck FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Felix Donciu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Donciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Kulaš, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Toninho Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Machado in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Erik Kulaš had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Donciu. Werneck FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Kulaš was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 30th minute Kazimierz Madej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Donciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Machado in the 32nd minute of play. Felix Donciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Kulaš, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Kulaš came free, but Felix Donciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Toninho Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Luz in the 37th minute of play. The Werneck FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Luz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Joélson Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Werneck FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Linares to maneuver through the defense. Felix Donciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Madej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Geraldo Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toninho Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Diguinho do Nascimento was substituted for Kauan Prestes. The wind increased when Kazimierz Madej made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Machado in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Cordeiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Donciu having to make a save. Werneck FC - DMZ made a substitution. Laerte Porto replaced Basílio Baiano. Werneck FC - DMZ's Felix Donciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Werneck FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Felix Donciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandão Crouch in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, one of CRICIÚMA E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CRICIÚMA E.C.:s Toninho Cardozo showed great skill when he stopped Joélson Amaral:s penalty. In the 74th minute, Emilio Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xandão Crouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Felix Donciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Felix Donciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRICIÚMA E.C.. Werneck FC - DMZ made a substitution. Sebastian Kiszkiel replaced Caetano Linares. Jaime Cordeiro scored 3-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Donciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diamantino Andrade hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Emilio Machado scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to CRICIÚMA E.C. getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jaime Cordeiro hit a great ball. After 99 minutes, Emilio Machado made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Toninho Cardozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Werneck FC - DMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
