Toninho Cardozo came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Chinho FC's Wieslaw Szkaradek. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Szkaradek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Chinho FC booed when CRICIÚMA E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaveyko Neev in the 12th minute of play forced CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Chinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Kulaš came free, but Gui Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Cardozo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Chinho FC's Wieslaw Szkaradek. But to his dismay, Wieslaw Szkaradek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Chinho FC's zone, Jaime Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gui Almeida came out of the goal and Jaime Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slaveyko Neev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Cardozo having to interfere. Chinho FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aleksandr Krieser in the 31st minute. Chinho FC's Gui Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Madej in the 32nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Szkaradek in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Cardozo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Szkaradek in the 38th minute of play forced CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Karol Smolarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wieslaw Szkaradeks short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Toninho Cardozo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 48th minute Wieslaw Szkaradek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Simão Sanches replaced Paolo Puyol. The wind increased when Wieslaw Szkaradek made the kick off in the second half. Slaveyko Neev scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toninho Cardozo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Alexandro Krieser got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Wieslaw Szkaradek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Toninho Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CRICIÚMA E.C.'s Karol Smolarek got a free kick in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slaveyko Neev in the 70th minute of play forced CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind CRICIÚMA E.C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xandão Crouch during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toninho Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Senin in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Jaime Cordeiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chinho FC's Aleksandr Krieser quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Toninho Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Senin in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xandão Crouch in the 97th minute of play forced Chinho FC's goalkeeper Gui Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Chinho FC were the better team. Chinho FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
