Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Örjan Björkdahl kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Örjan Björkdahl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Léo Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Örjan Björkdahl took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Lopes. Léo Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 17 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper Léo Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Rodrigues. After 18 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Gomes. Ademar Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Léo Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ. John Osomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Sarmento in the 22nd minute of the match. Örjan Björkdahl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Léo Lopes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Örjan Björkdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Léo Lopes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Örjan Björkdahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Edgard Dubardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Léo Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Örjan Björkdahl went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Örjan Björkdahl took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Lopes. Léo Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Örjan Björkdahl scored 8-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Léo Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The wind increased when Luís Eduardo Sarmento made the kick off in the second half. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Flamengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Örjan Björkdahl took the corner. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's attentive Tom Kuijpers managed to snatch the ball when Silvério Botelho made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. Örjan Björkdahl took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léo Lopes. Léo Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Örjan Björkdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Björkdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Örjan Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Örjan Björkdahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Alexandre Falcão was substituted for Zé Ortiz. In the 72nd minute, Örjan Björkdahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Sarmento hit a great ball. If Örjan Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jefferson Pereira made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Tom Kuijpers. After 85 minutes of play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Örjan Björkdahl made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Léo Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Örjan Björkdahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léo Lopes having to make a save. Léo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Örjan Björkdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Kléberson Guedes notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Flamengo's Léo Lopes. Léo Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Flamengo for a fine match.
