After having played for 6 minutes, Birger Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SHINERAY FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Burak Onal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SHINERAY FC - DMZ's zone, Burak Onal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Safadão came out of the goal and Burak Onal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute Burak Onal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséas Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lütfi Kutlubay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Burak Onal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Douglas Safadão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas Safadão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Chiquinho Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Safadão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Luciano Salles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SHINERAY FC - DMZ's Oséas Zonta in the 31st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Lütfi Kutlubay was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa through an amazing save. Lütfi Kutlubay made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Birger Leite sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Zonta came free, but Lütfi Kutlubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lütfi Kutlubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Zonta in the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Pombal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Safadão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lütfi Kutlubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséas Zonta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Lütfi Kutlubay made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chiquinho Pombal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birger Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Safadão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 52nd minute.
