Alfredo Curado was slow to take the kick. During this time Umbrella Corporation's players had a chance to rest. Umbrella Corporation's Alfredo Curado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa:s Lütfi Kutlubay showed great skill when he stopped Alfredo Curado:s penalty. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquinho Pombal to make the kick off. Antoni Bartoszek struck a weak shot in the 50th minute.
