With a little luck, Sanga funda's Oliver Wikenburg got control of the ball when Hoàng Thuy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hoàng Thuy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Oliver Wikenburg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Chesaru in the 23rd minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Carlos Fernando Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Corrêa in the 24th minute of play. After 27 minutes Sanga funda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dinei Rosa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fabinho Rossi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 31st match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hoàng Thuy to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Wikenburg having to interfere. Fabinho Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Dionísio in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Marin Chesaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Sanga funda's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Rosa came free, but Oliver Wikenburg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Marin Chesaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match, Fabinho Rossi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oliver Wikenburg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dinei Rosa was the one to do the kick off. Dinei Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Sanga funda's Marin Chesaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Fernando Alvarenga. Carlos Fernando Alvarenga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Oliver Wikenburg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hoàng Thuy went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ege Çavuş hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Cavalcante during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristóvão Senna was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. Uno Mille FC's Diguinho Sousa was substituted for Hoàng Thuy. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uno Mille FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Carlos Fernando Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Chesaru in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Giovanni da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uno Mille FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sanga funda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
