After a rather tough play, Diamond Crown FC's Christian do Nascimento got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 3 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bezerros EC's Clóvis Camargo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Claudinho do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Aguayo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Claudinho do Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Bernardo Aguayo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bezerros EC were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Diamond Crown FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kléber Paiva took the corner. 10 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Arantes came free, but Bernardo Aguayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho do Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Aguayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Aguayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho do Vale. Bernardo Aguayo made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Claudinho do Vale sent off a good shot on target. Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Camargo in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clóvis Camargo in the 26th minute of play forced Diamond Crown FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Aguayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho do Vale kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Diamond Crown FC's keeper Bernardo Aguayo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 31 minutes Diamond Crown FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kléber Paiva who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Bezerros EC's corner Kléber Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Aguayo quite easily take care of the ball. If Clóvis Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Alex Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Aguayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bezerros EC booed when Diamond Crown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Dias didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 53rd minute Clóvis Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Aguayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costin Verzea got free with Luiz Fernando Peixoto in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes in the game, Claudinho do Vale dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho do Vale in the 66th minute of play forced Diamond Crown FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Aguayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Aguayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Arantes in the 79th minute of play. Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Verzea in the 81st minute of play. Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho do Vale in the 84th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Claudinho do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bezerros EC and the Diamond Crown FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bezerros EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Diamond Crown FC for a fine match.
