Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fred Valencia kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Diamond Crown FC got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Nunes. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Geovanni Ramalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Diamond Crown FC from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Aguayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Ramalho hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alisson Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Tarin in the 16th minute of play. Orlando Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alisson Goycochea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Verzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar de Souzas short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Bernardo Aguayo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar de Souza in the 27th minute of play. Franklin Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bernardo Aguayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Nilmar de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Aguayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Valencia came free, but Bernardo Aguayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Valencia scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Aguayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Nilmar de Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Aguayo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Geovanni Ramalho. But to his dismay, Geovanni Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Verzea in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alisson Goycochea saved INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA from getting behind. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Diamond Crown FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilmar de Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's players had a chance to rest. In the 60th match minute, Diamond Crown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Verzea to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar de Souza in the 61st minute of play forced Diamond Crown FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Aguayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA booed when Diamond Crown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Diamond Crown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Dias to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Carlo Gamarra hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Diamond Crown FC's Costin Verzea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Fred Valencia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bernardo Aguayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Nilmar de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilmar de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Aguayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Diamond Crown FC defense, Fred Valencia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Aguayo. The Diamond Crown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Aguayo should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Nunes during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Diamond Crown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Nunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Geovanni Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Aguayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
