Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Lopez in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Fontes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Cerqueira got free with Daniël De Goeij in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Fontes came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Lozovan in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Robert Lozovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Richard Neto sped through Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rene Austin. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Amorim in the 30th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Luís Fabiano Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rene Austin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Lozovan went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Limoeiro-PE FC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gildo Cordeiro to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Lozovan got free with Rene Austin in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the match, Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Lozovan came free, but Rene Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Robert Lozovan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rene Austin. That made the score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. Michel Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Neto in the 66th minute of play forced Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ's goalkeeper Rene Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atletico Natalense FC-DMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Limoeiro-PE FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
