In the 6th minute, Gilvan Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Eate during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mauro Eate hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Best Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Brodel in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 김 함 saved Urameshi FC from getting behind. Gabi Orange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 함 having to interfere. Matheus Brodel struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. 김 함 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muqui FC. 김 함 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Chuan in the 34th minute of play. 김 함 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Orange in the 35th minute of play. 김 함 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tostão Cabral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Best Taffarel. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gabi Orange made the kick off in the second half. 김 함 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mai Chuan scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 김 함, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Muqui FC's 김 함 threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabi Orange, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tostão Cabral took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Best Taffarel. Best Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Tostão Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tostão Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 김 함 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matheus Brodel went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Urameshi FC's zone, Gabi Orange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 김 함 came out of the goal and Gabi Orange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Muqui FC's Gabi Orange got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Muqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Mai Chuan. Tostão Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Luiz Fernando de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Muqui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Best Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Cabral in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 minutes Muqui FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Gahan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Urameshi FC's Tostão Cabral to fire away a dangerous shot which Best Taffarel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Muqui FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
