In the 25th match minute, Lea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lea FC booed when Lindner F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliott Virgin had several of the Lea FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luiz Fernando Teixeira as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira got control of the ball when Dalmo Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Otávio Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Lea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Salles in the 69th minute of play forced Lea FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lindner F.C were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Lea FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jeremias Salles took the corner. The corner ended in Jeremias Salles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira did a great save. Otávio Dante's late challenge caught a Lindner F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Otávio Dante helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Lea FC got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Dante. Jeremias Salles scored 4-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luiz Fernando Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Keane in the 92nd minute of play. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
