The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Espigão Steamrollers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roneixon Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roneixon Siqueira in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raffael Quiroga saved Rolândia Esporte Clube from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Aguiar in the 10th minute of play forced Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonçalo de Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Totte Spursø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raffael Quiroga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kara Bhattacharya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Sidnei Meira with Christiano Aguiar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Espigão Steamrollers getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kara Bhattacharya hit a great ball. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totte Spursø in the 24th minute of play. Ulisses Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raffael Quiroga having to interfere. Gonçalo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Fernandez in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Totte Spursø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raffael Quiroga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roneixon Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rolândia Esporte Clube's Raffael Quiroga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Rolândia Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes Rolândia Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oswaldo Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ulisses Carioca got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raffael Quiroga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Espigão Steamrollers's Gonçalo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Fernandez in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rolândia Esporte Clube made a substitution. Berend Staarman replaced Gugu das Neves. Espigão Steamrollers's Gil Vieira was substituted for Ulisses Carioca. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roneixon Siqueira made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Kara Bhattacharya. In the 58th minute, Rolândia Esporte Clube's Zeca Fernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 61 minutes into the game, Enio Duarte threw the ball into play from the sideline. Espigão Steamrollers's Ulisses Aparecido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Kara Bhattacharya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rolândia Esporte Clube's zone, Roneixon Siqueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raffael Quiroga came out of the goal and Roneixon Siqueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rolândia Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Baldomiro Hitzeder hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Rolândia Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Hitzeder. Rolândia Esporte Clube's Raffael Quiroga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Nascimento in the 77th minute of play. The corner led to Espigão Steamrollers's 柳远桑 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Yuri Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raffael Quiroga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuri Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Paranaense in the 80th minute of play forced Rolândia Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Raffael Quiroga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rolândia Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Raffael Quiroga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Yuri Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raffael Quiroga was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Raffael Quiroga came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Espigão Steamrollers's Yuri Paranaense. But to his dismay, Yuri Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rolândia Esporte Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
