G.'s goalkeeper Manuel Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toninho Pereira. Dida Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Osvaldo Ferreira took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Paranaense. Manuel Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcinho Tavares 12 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 16 minutes, Toninho Pereira made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G.'s Manuel Paranaense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Toninho Pereira scored 4-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Paranaense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G. defense, Toninho Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Paranaense. The CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Sérgio Roche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Campidelis in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Internazionale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Diego Deunoro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th play minute Toninho Pereira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Manuel Paranaense. 6-0. After 37 minutes of play, Internazionale's Toninho Pereira made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Norberto Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Internazionale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcinho Tavares to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Deunoro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Ferreira made a kick off. Internazionale's Sérgio Roche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enio Campidelis in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Internazionale booed when CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Internazionale's Claudinho Passos took a good shot, in the 56th minute, which hit the crossbar above Manuel Paranaense's head, and flew over the goal. CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G.'s manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Internazionale. Dida Pimenta's late challenge caught a Internazionale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Dida Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Anísio Guerra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Paranaense. CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. Manuel Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Manuel Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Pereira in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Internazionale's Toninho Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. The supporters of Internazionale booed when CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the CLUBE ESPORTIVO B. G. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Internazionale.
