Spectators: 141 (Terracing: 107, Seating: 32, VIP seats: 2) Matías Tepedino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 6 minutes, Geovânio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caxinha F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Luís Goiano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Itapema's Vitório Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Tepedino in the 8th minute of play. After 9 minutes Itapema's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Su Yao Xiang who took care of the corner kick. When Jervis Tresise fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapema's protests and gave Jervis Tresise a yellow card for diving instead. 16 minutes into the match, Su Yao Xiang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitório Massa. Itapema's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Su Yao Xiang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vitório Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Su Yao Xiang in the 19th minute of the match. Geovânio Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitório Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Matías Tepedino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Vitório Massa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovânio Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Massa having to interfere. When Matías Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Caxinha F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Tepedino couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Matías Tepedino notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Itapema's Vitório Massa. Vitório Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Paulo Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Durvalino Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. Su Yao Xiangs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Vitório Massa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 53rd minute Matías Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Matías Tepedino rounded Itapema's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Tepedino in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Itapema's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Su Yao Xiang was slow to take the kick. During this time Caxinha F. C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Caxinha F. C.'s Su Yao Xiang to fire away a dangerous shot which Vitório Massa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Vitório Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Tepedino in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Caxinha F. C.'s Vitório Massa threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matías Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Silvério Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute of the match Itapema got a corner. Caxinha F. C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimir Albuquerque ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vladimir Albuquerque got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silvério Andrade quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovânio Proença got free with Vitório Massa in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Durvalino Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Durvalino Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Paulo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvério Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
