The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juvenal Sergipano. That made the score 3-0 after 11 minutes of play. Benjamin Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Sergipano was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Benjamin Lara put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Lara in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Sergipano saved CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Juvenal Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Lara in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, Victor Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Sergipano came out of the goal and Victor Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jerry Uchiha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
