Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso got a freekick which was hit by Rashad Bartlett. After some careless play in the Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Martin Bell Burnell. The Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Martin Bell Burnell should have stopped the shot. Lisandro Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Karl Martin Bell Burnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Åke Hellström got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gustavo Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Rashad Bartlett came free, but João Carlos Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Azevedo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Martin Bell Burnell saved Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso from getting behind. João Carlos Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton de Medeiros in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rashad Bartlett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernando Azevedo made a kick off. Rashad Bartlett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but João Carlos Lucas made a huge save. Karl Martin Bell Burnell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Fortunato Froněk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ and the Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Carlos Lucas made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Rashad Bartlett sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Amadeu do Nascimento got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ made a substitution. Gabriel Recife replaced Gernando Azevedo. A collision led to Los Andes FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Amadeu do Nascimento hit a great ball. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Recife in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton de Medeiros in the 87th minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper João Carlos Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Åke Hellström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
