The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Vermudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grêmio Santo André's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernani Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Jeferson Santana notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Jampa City FC's Romeu Gomes. Romeu Gomes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grêmio Santo André's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
