In the 8th minute of the match, Felix Beetens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ladislav Telepovský was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Santo Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Santana in the 13th minute of the match. Ladislav Telepovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawerence Marion, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jeferson Santana took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Marcos. Santo Marcos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 陶谦凌 in the 39th minute of play forced Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper Ladislav Telepovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Lawerence Marion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ladislav Telepovský. Lawerence Marion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After 45 minutes of play, Grêmio Santo André's Santiago Oliverio made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Marcos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Vermudo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Santo André's zone, Felix Beetens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislav Telepovský came out of the goal and Felix Beetens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeferson Santana received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santo Marcos came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeferson Santana slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes BEITAR JERUSALEM FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Beetens. Lawerence Marion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ladislav Telepovský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 陶谦凌 took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Telepovský. Ladislav Telepovský dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. BEITAR JERUSALEM FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
