Diogo Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Froněk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Dionísio having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Gernando Azevedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diogo Dionísio, 1-0. The supporters of Los Andes FC - FSCMZ booed when Limeirinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hu Xu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 19th minute of play forced Limeirinha FC's goalkeeper Diogo Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Larra in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Furlan came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Azevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 24th playminute. A well-hit corner resulted in Stefan Stenquist heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 41 minutes into the game, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diogo Dionísio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ruy Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Furlan in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernando Azevedo made a kick off. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Dionísio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Gernando Azevedo sped through Limeirinha FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diogo Dionísio. Diogo Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo in the 60th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu do Nascimento. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Ruy Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Larra in the 74th minute of play. Diogo Dionísio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Hayrullah Özgun was substituted for Fred Monteiro.
