The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Uriondo got free with Ergo Muro in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Duarte in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Valdomiro Ortiz got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Duarte in the 21st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ihazintu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Rafel saved ARGENTINO JNR from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Niceto Ihazintu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARGENTINO JNR's Damaso Rafel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Henrique might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Rafel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Henrique ran back to his position shaking his head. Damaso Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Henrique kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caatiba MZC's zone, José Pedro Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergo Muro came out of the goal and José Pedro Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olavo Bastos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Ergo Muro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ARGENTINO JNR's supporters rose to their feet, but José Pedro Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ergo Muro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Lin Gang in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Olavo Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Caatiba MZC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
