Zico Orange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Patrik Sikström made a huge save. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Paulo Renato Pombal with Nilton de Queirós as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 19th minute Nilton de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Pombal made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gil Neves immediately put the ball in play. In the 32nd minute Acácio Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zico Orange dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Patrik Sikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Orange in the 40th minute of the match. If Bruno-Henrique Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edinho Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton de Queirós in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 51st minute, Zico Orange made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Sikström. Seterma Tractors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Paulo Renato Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Aldair Orange sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Sikström skillfully saved the ball. Edinho Pirani made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Augusto Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Seterma Tractors booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário Mota took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Pirani. Edinho Pirani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Seterma Tractors's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ had won, even though Seterma Tractors had held more of the ball.
