After having played for 4 minutes, Zé Ruelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vixi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Ruelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldinho Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Ruelas in the 15th minute of play. If Zé Ruelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ruelas in the 20th minute of play forced Ajax AFC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Vixi FC's Zé Ruelas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldinho Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 28 played minutes Ajax AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mirko Harms. Silviu Filip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandão Azevedo in the 30th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Ruelas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Ajax AFC's Ronaldinho Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Ruelas in the 33rd minute of play. Ronaldinho Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Ruelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Ruelas in the 41st minute of play. After the first half Vixi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Douglas Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Silviu Filip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ruelas in the 60th minute of play forced Ajax AFC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ajax AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Toninho Scherer hit a great ball. When Zé Ruelas came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Vixi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Ruelas couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Fernandão Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Filip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ajax AFC booed when Vixi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Vixi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Furtado came free, but Silviu Filip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Ruelas in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronaldinho Rezende, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Ruelas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronaldinho Rezende saved Ajax AFC from getting behind. With 80 minutes on the clock, Zanin Dudić commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 81 played minutes Vixi FC got a freekick which was hit by Zanin Dudić. In the 83rd minute Fellipe Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Filip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajax AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niko Hämäläinen in the 85th minute. Vixi FC's Silviu Filip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cabral in the 90th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Ajax AFC's corner Niko Hämäläinen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silviu Filip quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vixi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
