In the 6th minute, Reinaldo Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Inacio F.C. booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi got control of the ball when Válbson Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. João Oliveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Ramalho went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Abel Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Inacio F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Severiano Nel made the kick off in the second half. If Eusebio Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The Ricart Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 78 minutes Inacio F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doron Bantz who took care of the corner kick.
