When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Romeu Guedes sped through Winners's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Quinton. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Romeu Guedes put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elpidio Quinton. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Cunha during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
