Waldemar Dzerwucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes, Ronaldinho Picavea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domicilio and the Ypiranga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Domicilio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Picavea to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Dzerwucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeu Guedes's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute Romeu Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dzerwucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Domicilio's goal looked a bit too open when Luizinho Veiga came free, but Waldemar Dzerwucki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Cardoso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Romeu Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Luizinho Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Dzerwucki. Domicilio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ypiranga FC's Petre Porumboiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ypiranga FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Luizinho Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dzerwucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Guedes in the 34th minute of play forced Domicilio's goalkeeper Waldemar Dzerwucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Gamboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petre Porumboiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Picavea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeu Guedes got free with Waldemar Dzerwucki in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gică Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Dzerwucki having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Cristóvão Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th match minute, Domicilio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Barreto to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match, José Furlan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Waldemar Dzerwucki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Domicilio getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jacinto Barreto hit a great ball. Waldemar Dzerwucki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Romeu Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Domicilio's Waldemar Dzerwucki got control of the ball when Romeu Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ypiranga FC's Romeu Guedes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldemar Dzerwucki. That made the score 0-2 after 76 minutes of play. Waldemar Dzerwucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Guedes in the 81st minute of the match. The Domicilio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ypiranga FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
