Douglas Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Douglas Cabral's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waldemar Dzerwucki firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ronaldinho Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Picavea, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Marcos Quirino fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Domicilio's protests and gave Marcos Quirino a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Urbano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The wind increased when Douglas Cabral made the kick off in the second half. When Ajax AFC's Davi Alvarenga in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 72nd minute, Douglas Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Dzerwucki. Domicilio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Domicilio's Jacinto Barreto got a free kick in the 78th minute. Douglas Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Dzerwucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play.
