With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Soeiro in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho Toledo saved Dínamo São Paulo from getting behind. Denílson Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diguinho Toledo having to make a save. In the 7th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Dínamo São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Diguinho Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Ivarsson got free with Jeremias Moreno in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dínamo São Paulo's Diguinho Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 15th minute of play. Diguinho Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Soeiro in the 16th minute of the match. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Vasconcelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denílson Tepedino scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diguinho Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute of the match ADM Taquaras got a corner. Dínamo São Paulo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malcolm Westerberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Tales De Mileto to score against Diguinho Toledo in Dínamo São Paulo's goal. 0-2 after 30 minutes. Nestor Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diguinho Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Miki Moco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Diguinho Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Tepedino to make the kick off. Diguinho Toledo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ADM Taquaras's Nestor Soeiro. But to his dismay, Nestor Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Diguinho Toledo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Denílson Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Herberto Ribas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diguinho Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 70 minutes into the match, Dínamo São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Diguinho Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Laurent Lanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denílson Tepedino in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diguinho Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 76 minutes into the match, Nestor Soeiro notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Dínamo São Paulo's Diguinho Toledo. Diguinho Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute, Ronaldinho Gaúcho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dínamo São Paulo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. After 93 played minutes Denílson Tepedino rounded Dínamo São Paulo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-9.
